Mr S Chaudhri is an excellent surgeon. He explains all procedures in terms all can understand.I would highly recommend his services to all.All staff at Woodland hospital are professional and very friendly.
Every single person, since my treatment start,
I met was so kind so helpful
I would like to thank to all them from my heart.
So far I believe I have best possible treatment.
I was made to feel very comfortable from my first appointment. The staff are caring, courteous and very sympathetic to all patients. From reception through to theatre the care you receive is a great credit to the staff and hospital. Although the same staff work for Kettering General Hospital, there exceptional standard at the Woodlands Hospital.surprised me immensely. I would definitely recommend this hospital the wait time for appointments is 100% on time no delay including waiting times for surgery. I will definitely be using there services in the future.
All the staff have always been very professional with a smile on arrival.
We saw Mr Qayyum at the Woodland after my husband's operation at the Fitzwilliam as it was closer to home for us.
The operation was a great success and all down to a fantastic surgeon. Amazed at the better than expected results. My husband had very little to no discomfort afterwards and has helped considerably with his breathing.
Every thing was fine, except as my operation was last , l had quite a wait so think the waiting room prior to the operation could of had an armchair for comfort. Apart from that faultless.
What a lovely hospital. The staff are professional and courteous. Felt very well looked after as they do a great job there. Well done!
Great Hospital but parking is poor.
I have been lucky enough to have received surgery at Woodlands under the NHS.
All of the staff I have experienced have always been very welcoming, caring and professional.
I would thoroughly recommend Woodland Hospital.
Been seeing Dr Shukla re my ongoing shoulder problem and he has been very helpful and kind. Explains everything thoroughly and discusses options with me. Would definitely recommend. Reception staff are friendly and apologetic if there is any delay. I have seen this doctor both through NHS referral and privately, I have been treated well on both visits. I finally have a plan in place re treatment of my pain and I am very grateful for that.
Booked in via NHS for a day case procedure that should have taken no more than 90mins. We were at the hospital for 5 hours and received no coherent or credible answers from either the nursing or reception staff as to what was the cause of the delay. The different responses we were given only reinforced our suspicions that we were being misled. A more serious issue is that the pre-pack information clearly stated that patients would be given a light sedative for the procedure but at the point of having the procedure we were told that ''no sedative would be given and we stopped doing that ages ago''. The patient, who was in a stressed and tearful state at that stage, then heard a patient leaving the sigmoidoscopy room saying ‘’no-one told me it would be that painful’’, then the nurse assisting the procedure said to here 'I'll just clean this as you won't want a dirty one used on you!" This procedure is known to cause discomfort and in some patients pain, the staff should make it explicit that there is no sedative offered so that patients may make an informed choice as to whether Woodlands an appropriate service for them. The staff attitudes (nurses and reception) bordered on indifferent, in particular the 3 nurses at the 1st floor desk none of whom showed any compassion for a clearly distressed patient or gave any apology for the long wait. Woodlands management should consider investing in quality training to ensure a high level patient experience is given and patients should expect no less. Alongside this the NHS commissioners responsible for handing the tender out to Woodlands should put in place onsite and accessible patient satisfaction feedback mechanisms.
